After more than 15 years of experience in multinational environments in Management, Marketing and Sales, Inmaculada started her own business project as a Consultant. She also collaborates with the University of Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona where she teaches at the Department of Entrepreneurship.
She currently works as an Independent Consultant advising clients in different areas of business and marketing strategy, brand development and digital transformation. She believes that the fundamental thing of marketing is the voice of the consumer. She tries to come up with innovative approaches for new products and their introduction to the market.
Because teaching is something that she is very passionate about, she is responsible for several courses at the URV, being also a member of the Commission of the Entrepreneurship Chair.
Since 2011, she has been Vice President of Marketing for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia in the American multinational company Jacuzzi, the inventor of hydro massage. She directed both the development of the brand and new products and their promotion in different markets. She led the integration of different countries in the same strategy, execution and digital transformation with a common platform.
Previously, she worked for the American multinational company Black & Decker (currently StanleyBlack & Decker) in different countries and occupied various positions.
From 2008 until 2011, she worked as Country Manager with responsibilities for Marketing in Iberia and Sales in Spain for both the Black & Decker brand and later the professional market of DeWALT.
She was a leading figure at the Iberian level and the European management team in the process of merging of companies of the Stanley group.
From 1993 to 2007, she worked as Product Manager in Spain, Trade Marketing Manager in Italy and became Marketing Director for Europe developing new products at the European headquarters in the UK for the Black & Decker brand.
As part of her degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona, Inmaculada studied a course via the Erasmus program in the Netherlands and attended several courses in Scotland as well. It was during these experiences that she developed her interest in the international world and her passion to work with different nationalities.
In 2010, she was awarded by the Faculty of Economics and Business of the URV with the "Successful career of a former student" award.
Being a tutor, her goal is to lead students by providing both strategic and practical approaches, conveying her experience in different countries and professional fields. She likes to work with students who are passionate about their work, result-oriented and have a long-term vision.
